Hi all,

The spring 2008 South River Legion Poker run is on May 10th and will have a $500.00 Pot. Regisgration starts at 8:00 am at Allen Sohm’s gravel pit on Eagle Lake Road, or you can register at the South River Legion Legion Branch 390 before hand to beat the lines.

Please note that all riders are required to register. Many of the trails are on private property. There will be people at the trail entrances verifying registration.

Price $40.00 per ATV, extra rider $10.00.
Poker hand drawn during rally. As usual, lunch on the trail at 12:00 -2:00. Dinner at the Legion from 5:00 – 7:00 Prizes given out at 7.00. More info call the Legion (705) 386-2906.

Groups of 10 or more please call the Legion @ (705) 386-2906 to reserve a spot.

We’ll be running two trails, so you have the option of taking the relaxed ride or hitting the rough stuff. Both trails meet up for lunch at the same place, so you can do the rougher one in the morning and smoother one after lunch, or vice versa. Both should have lots of mud. The big holes have places to go around so everyone can get through.

To get there take Highway 11 to South River. Then head west at the lights (Ottawa Ave) until you hit the first stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Eagle Lake road. Then take Eagle Lake road for about 20 km. The gravel pit will be on your left, just watch for the signs and crowds of ATVs.

Cant wait, I went last year and it was amazing. The chalenging run was well.. Chalenging so we ended up turning around and taking the relaxed trail.. which was a ton of fun.
