I think I may have to try to make this. It's just the 3 hour drive to get there... How long is the ride?

We took the short run and clocked 18km but it took us 5hrs to do it. This year we are taking the muddy trail so should be a little longer and slower.

Wow that must be a pretty rough trail! I don't think I would drive 250km though for a short ride like that. I like to cover distance and get 100-150km in a day

Our atv runs in this area rarely go over 70km (distance) in a day
They were't too rough (where we went). just getting stuck and helping others and taking pictures

I agree...i have run on some sundays and only done 50 kms and spent 10 hours riding..ok winching but you get the point...south river is most definitely not a leasurely ride...its a great workout. Well worth the drive if this is the kind of riding that interests you.

Yes deffinately need winch or someone with one.Lots of mud. Arrived back at dusk last ride. Is the ride going clock wise or counter clock wise this year? I liked the position of lunch when it was in the bush not on the lake. Although lake was nice for filling bottles to clean rads on those wonderful Polaris's. We will see how this years model fairs. We didnt get to lake until 3/4 threw ride 2 years ago. We are up to around 45 bikes now will take us a while to get threw for sure. WOO WHOO!
